Nominator Requirements:
As previously indicated, applicants must be suggested by a recognized individual or group in the same sector. The applicant's achievements and worldwide status must be supported by the nominator, who must be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident, qualified NZ citizen, or an Australian organization. The submission should also explain how the candidate plans to contribute to the Australian community, find work, and settle in the country. It should be noted that the nominator is not required to hire the applicant.

Successful applicants will be assigned a unique identity to use when applying for the Subclass 858 visa. The health and character conditions for the visa application must be met. The department will finalize the application once it has been examined and all conditions have been met. If approved, the Subclass 858 visa lets the applicant to reside and work continuously in Australia.
